Brad Klippert has dedicated his life to serving the people of Benton County, Washington State, and our nation through law enforcement, military leadership, and public service. Brad has served as a Benton County Sheriff’s Deputy since 1999, with experience in patrol, investigations, community safety, and as a School Resource Officer for the Kiona-Benton City School District. Prior to joining Benton County, he also served as a deputy in Pierce County.
In addition to his law enforcement career, Brad served more than 30 years in the military, including 20 years as a helicopter pilot, retiring as a Colonel and Commander in the Washington State Guard. His leadership experience includes emergency response coordination, personnel management, and operational command.
Brad also represented Washington’s 8th Legislative District for 14 years in the Washington State House of Representatives, where he worked on public safety, criminal justice, veterans’ affairs, and education issues.
A longtime Kennewick resident, Brad’s career has been built on service, leadership, and a commitment to safer communities throughout Benton County.
